ABOUT THE ROLE

Our client, a Brisbane-based company specializing in healthcare interiors, is seeking a 
Conceptual Designer
to join their team of five. The company focuses on refreshing and renovating spaces such as dental clinics, medical centers, physiotherapy, and chiropractic practices.

In this role, you will create professional workplace layouts and design concepts, support the sales team in winning projects, and contribute to multiple ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment. Over time, you will also further develop your skills in 3D modelling and visualization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft and design healthcare workplace layouts and floor plans.
• Collaborate with the sales and design teams to develop and refine concepts.
• Produce 3D design visualizations using SketchUp, Revit, and Lumion.
• Prepare and deliver design presentations for client meetings.
• Interpret plans while ensuring compliance with regulations and codes of practce.
• Stay up to date with the latest design trends, materials, and styles.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proficiency in Google SketchUp and Revit (Lumion is a plus).
• Experience in interior design or drafting, preferably in commercial or healthcare settings.
• Strong conceptual design and space planning skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• 3D modelling experience is an advantage but not required—this can be developed as part of the role.
