JOB DESCRIPTION:

1. System Requirements Analysis

  • Analyze and interpret business or operational requirements from a system perspective.
  • Break down requirements into technical specifications, considering scalability, integration, and performance.
  • Perform system feasibility studies, impact analysis, and compatibility assessments.

2. System Design & Architecture

  • Design logical and physical system models, workflows, and data structures.
  • Develop technical solutions, working closely with software developers and solution architects.
  • Ensure designs align with architectural standards and technical constraints.

3. Technical Documentation

  • Produce System Requirement Specifications (SRS), interface designs, data flow diagrams, and other technical artifacts.
  • Maintain comprehensive system documentation for future development and support.
  • Translate business language into system logic without taking on a business analyst role.

4. Integration & Testing Support

  • Define and document system interfaces and integration points.
  • Support QA and UAT teams by preparing test cases and validating against system specs.
  • Troubleshoot issues during SIT/UAT from a technical/systemic point of view.

5. Implementation & Post-Go-Live Support

  • Support system deployment, configuration, and environment readiness.
  • Provide technical guidance during rollout, including root cause analysis of system issues.
  • Prepare user manuals and system support documentation.

6. System Optimization & Improvement

  • Analyze system performance and suggest enhancements.
  • Recommend upgrades or architectural improvements based on usage trends and bottlenecks.
  • Participate in ICT governance, compliance, and standardization initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Training

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical field.
  • Certifications in system analysis, software architecture, or IT frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, ITIL, IREB) are an advantage.

Experience

  • 3–5 years of experience as a System Analyst, Technical Analyst, or in a similar technical role.
  • Solid background in system modeling, data flow analysis, and technical documentation.
  • Hands-on experience with both Agile and Waterfall SDLCs.
  • Experience in system integration and dealing with APIs is preferred.

Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of software architecture, databases, and system integration principles.
  • Proficiency in UML, BPMN, and technical design tools.
  • SQL knowledge for data validation and backend testing.
  • Familiar with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, or similar platforms.
  • Understanding of API frameworks, web services, and enterprise systems.
