We are seeking an experienced Application Engineer – SAP Material Management (MM) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP MM solutions to meet business requirements. This role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical experts to ensure the effective utilization of SAP MM in procurement, inventory management, and materials planning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of SAP MM solutions.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP MM functional specifications.
  • Manage procurement processes including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, goods receipt, and invoice verification.
  • Configure and support inventory management, valuation, and material master data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional SAP teams (FI, SD, PP, WM) for integrated business processes.
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, change requests, and system enhancements.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, functional specifications, and training materials.
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for SAP MM, providing guidance to users and junior team members.
  • Support system upgrades, patches, and SAP S/4HANA migration activities as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in SAP MM configuration and implementation.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement, inventory management, material valuation, and invoice verification processes.
  • Experience with integration of MM with FI, SD, PP, and WM modules.
  • Solid understanding of business process mapping and gap analysis.
  • Experience in SAP S/4HANA MM is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills:
  • SAP MM certification.
  • Knowledge of ABAP debugging for issue analysis.
  • Experience in global rollouts and end-to-end SAP MM implementations.
  • Exposure to Agile or DevOps methodologies.

Additional Requirements:

  • Open for Project based employment (initial 12 months w/ possible of extension depends on the project needs/performance)
