Instrumentation Technician is responsible for supporting both pre-sales and post-sales activities including customer demonstrations, material evaluation, on-site installation, and servicing and repair of complex equipment and systems for all products and markets.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure safety and QA procedures are followed for all work being carried
  • Ensure QA card has all the relevant fields completed and signed off for all work that he/she carries out
  • Ensure safety and quality of products and report any problem through the correct chain of command
  • Report status and progress to Technical Manager/Managing Director
  • Compile product drawings, procedures, reports and calculations as required
  • Safeguard product workflow and make certain that downtime and unanticipated problems are minimized and all personnel within his/her control are working efficiently
  • Disassemble, repair, reassemble, and test associated equipment
  • Fault-find and resolve problems within his/her areas of competence
  • Deal with clients, suppliers and other departments/companies
  • Ensure all outgoing jobs are completed at a high standard
  • Work and collaborate with other service engineers to ensure that deliverables are met
  • Ensure that projects are completed within agreed schedule and budgets

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Instrumentation or a related technical field or equivalent work experience
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Has strong working knowledge of instrumentation, electrical, and mechanical engineering concepts and terms
  • Has proven strong technical knowledge and is customer-oriented
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
  • Strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting capabilities
