Overall Job Responsibilities

  • Install, repair and maintain guestroom equipment, and other similar machinery.

  • Assists in performing system calculations and studies for electromechanical power systems – load flow, voltage drop, motor starting, short circuit studies, and relay coordination studies.

  • Apply design knowledge in power distribution, grounding, lighting, control systems, and equipment specification and selection

  • Assists in developing test requirements and assist in electromechanical equipment checkout and startup.

  • Assists in reviewing and checking all assigned project electromechanical installation drawings for compliance with all company and project instructions (One-line diagrams, electrical equipment location drawings, plan drawings, details, schematics, wiring diagrams, etc.) of technical vendor submittals for installation requirements.

  • Assists in planning new or modified installations to minimize waste of materials, provide access for future maintenance, and avoid unsightly, hazardous, and unreliable wiring, consistent with specifications and local electrical codes.

  • Plan wiring and installation of equipment and fixtures such as motors, generators, as well as control and distribution apparatus such as switches, relays, and circuit-breaker panels.

  • Prepare sketches showing location of wiring and equipment, or follow diagrams or blueprints, ensuring that concealed wiring is installed before completion of future walls, ceilings, and flooring.

  • Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install electromechanical conduit. Pull wiring through conduit. Splice wires by stripping insulation from terminal leads, twisting or soldering wires together, and applying tape or terminal caps. Connect wiring to lighting fixtures and power equipment. Connect power cables to equipment, such as electric range or motor. Install grounding leads.

  • Test continuity of circuit to ensure electrical compatibility and safety of components with testing instruments such as ohmmeter, battery and buzzer, and oscilloscope.

  • Inspect wiring and fixtures for conformance to company specifications or local electrical codes.

  • Observe functioning of installed equipment or system to detect hazards and need for adjustments, relocation, or replacement. Repair faulty equipment or systems.

Functional Job Responsibilities

Function 1

  • Performs inspections and maintenance related tasks requiring and descending stairs, bending, reaching and working at heights.

Function 2

  • Performs job requiring proper wearing of personal protective equipment (PPE) as necessary.

Function 3

  • Performs job across air conditioned, humid and hot environment and may participate in reasonably strenuous exercise such as fire and emergency drills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php17, Php23,000.00 per month
