Mobile Tester (SIT & Data Testing)

The Mobile Tester is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of mobile applications through comprehensive System Integration Testing (SIT) and data validation processes. The role involves collaborating with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to design and execute test cases, validate data integrity across systems, and identify issues affecting functionality, performance, and user experience. The tester will work across multiple mobile platforms (iOS and Android), ensuring that applications meet business requirements and perform seamlessly across devices and data environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute System Integration Testing (SIT) to validate end-to-end workflows between mobile apps, APIs, and backend systems.
  • Conduct data testing to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency between databases and application layers.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute detailed test cases, test scripts, and test data.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
  • Perform regression, functional, and UI testing on various mobile devices and OS versions.
  • Collaborate with development and business teams to troubleshoot and verify defect resolutions.
  • Participate in test planning, review sessions, and release validations.
Qualifications & Skills
  • 2–5 years of experience in mobile application testing and SIT.
  • Strong knowledge of data validation, SQL, and integration testing principles.
  • Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI) and test automation frameworks (Appium, Selenium preferred).
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
