About the role

As a Purchasing Specialist at EasyFood Restaurants Corporation, you will play a crucial role in the company's supply chain operations. Working in our busy head office located in Santa Mesa, Manila City, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating and procuring materials, equipment and services to support the efficient running of our nationwide network of restaurants. This full-time position is an excellent opportunity to apply your procurement expertise and contribute to the continued growth and success of our dynamic food service business.

What you'll be doing

  1. Researching and identifying potential suppliers to meet the company's purchasing needs
  2. Negotiating with suppliers to secure the best prices, delivery terms and quality of goods
  3. Preparing and issuing purchase orders, contracts and other procurement documentation
  4. Managing supplier relationships and performance to ensure timely delivery of goods
  5. Maintaining accurate records and inventory of purchased materials and equipment
  6. Analysing purchasing data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve processes
  7. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements
  8. Ensuring all purchasing activities comply with company policies and procedures

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a purchasing or procurement role, ideally within the food service or retail industry
  2. Strong negotiation and vendor management skills with the ability to build and maintain productive supplier relationships
  3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to optimise purchasing decisions
  4. Proficient in using enterprise resource planning (ERP) and procurement software
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  6. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field
  7. Adaptable and able to work well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
