  • The IT Manager is primarily responsible for the overseeing the company's overall technology needs. He is likewise accountable for the smooth running of computer systems within the limits of requirements, specifications, costs and timeliness.

Key Result Areas / Duties & Responsibilities:

1. IT SERVICES

1.1 Sees to it that all sites have an efficient and (possibly) uninterrupted internet connectivity at all times

1.2 Reviews and evaluates existing system and recommends improvements to enhance operational support

1.3 Identifies and recommends specifications for IT tools, hardware/software for each end-user based on position and function

1.4 Plans and assesses IT requirements in accordance with the Company's policies and standards

1.5 Formulates all policies and procedures related to information technology

1.6 Addresses IT-related concerns promptly and sees to it that down time is minimized

1.7 Sources for suppliers and vendors that are reliable and cost-efficient

1.8 Controls the allocation of IT resources to end users

1.9 Handles asset management for IT hardware, software and equipment

1.10 Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems

1.11 Act in alignment with software developers to enable and ensure security and resilience throughout the software lifecycle.

2. CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

2.1 Conducts regular assessment of performance of help desk and technical support services to ensure efficiency and effectiveness

2.2 Communicates with Division Heads and Suppliers to define business and system requirements for new technology implementation

2.3 Recommends streamlining of operational business and financial procedures utilizing IT tools and applications

2.4 Conducts research on potential technology solutions in support of procurement efforts and better performance

3. LEADERSHIP

3.1 Discusses job content with subordinates, ensuring that all expectations of the job are clearly understood and that all tasks are done

3.2 Supervises activities and schedules of staff

3.3 Monitors deliverables, ensures discipline, and overall performance of staff

3.4 Ensures that all members of the team comply with all company policies and operational standards

3.5 Recommends necessary training and development programs for staff

Job Qualification:

I. EDUCATION:

  • Must be a college graduate of Information Technology, or other related course

II. EXPERIENCE

  • With at least ten (10) years of relevant work experience

III. SKILLS/COMPETENCIES/ QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be updated with the latest in information technology

  • Must have a keen eye for details Must have a high level of integrity

  • Must have Planning, Analytical, and Leadership skills

  • Must be proficient in Oral and Written English Communication

Location: 606A Raxabago St. Tondo Manila

Schedule: Monday to Saturday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
