The Purchasing Manager is responsible for managing the procurement of materials, equipment, and services essential to the company's operations. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, lead, and execute purchasing strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Manage the procurement process from requisition to purchase order and delivery.
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers; negotiate contracts and pricing agreements.
  • Monitor supplier performance, quality, and compliance with company standards.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to forecast demand and manage inventory levels.
  • Analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Prepare reports on purchasing activity, cost analysis, and supplier performance.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards.
  • Supervise and mentor procurement team members (if applicable).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
  • Proven track record in vendor negotiation and contract management.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
