Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Head of Purchasing Department based in Davao. The Head of Purchasing Department will oversee all purchasing operations, manage supplier relationships, and negotiate procurement deals to ensure cost-effective strategies. Responsibilities include establishing purchasing policies and processes, ensuring the timely acquisition of materials and goods, monitoring inventory and vendor performance, and developing strategies for continuous improvement in the procurement lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Purchasing Processes, Purchasing Negotiation, and Purchase Management
  • Strong Analytical Skills to evaluate suppliers, costs, and procurement strategies
  • Experience in overall Purchasing operations, with the ability to oversee end-to-end processes
  • Excellent leadership, decision-making, and organizational skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Experience in a managerial or supervisory role within procurement is an advantage
