PharmaServ is seeking a Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain our data warehouse and ETL pipelines. The Data Engineer will be responsible for building scalable, reliable data platforms that support analytics, reporting, and decision-making across the organization. Working closely with analysts, and business stakeholders, this role will ensure that data from multiple sources is accurate, accessible, and optimized for performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to move and transform data from multiple sources.
  • Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL Server databases, ensuring high performance and data integrity.
  • Implement and maintain data warehouse solutions to support reporting and analytics needs.
  • Write efficient Python scripts to automate data workflows and integrate various data sources.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve data pipelines for scalability, efficiency, and reliability.
  • Document data flows, data models, and ETL processes to support knowledge sharing and maintainability.

Qualifications & Skills

Required:

  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong expertise in building and maintaining ETL processes.
  • Proficiency in SQL Server (T-SQL, performance tuning, stored procedures).
  • Solid programming skills in Python for data processing and automation.
  • Hands-on experience with data warehouse concepts and implementation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Kafka or other streaming platforms.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Knowledge of BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
