Job Descriptions

Team Leadership & Oversight

  • Review complex/high-risk cases escalated by analysts and provide final recommendations.
  • Conduct QA (Quality Assurance) reviews of KYC/EDD files to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to analysts.

KYC & EDD Operations

  • Oversee onboarding reviews, ongoing monitoring, and periodic reviews of high-risk accounts.
  • Ensure proper verification of government IDs, proof of address, and supporting documents.
  • Supervise investigations of PEPs, adverse media matches, sanctions hits, and third-party payment usage.
  • Ensure proper collection and assessment of Source of Funds (SOF) / Source of Wealth (SOW) documentation.

Payments & Risk Monitoring

  • Ensure payment-related checks are performed, including matching deposit/withdrawal accounts with player accounts.
  • Oversee reviews of suspicious payment patterns (rapid deposits/withdrawals, third-party wallets, abnormal transaction behavior).
  • Collaborate with the Fraud & Risk team on payment disputes, reversals, and e-wallet recalls (GCash/Maya).

Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure compliance with AMLA, AMLC regulations, PAGCOR/CEZA licensing conditions, and internal AML/CFT policies.
  • Oversee timely escalation of suspicious activity to the Compliance Officer/AMLO.
  • Support the preparation of Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) and Covered Transaction Reports (CTRs).
  • Maintain audit-ready records and assist in regulatory inspections and internal audits.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with Compliance, Payments, Risk & Fraud, and Customer Support teams to resolve complex cases.
  • Coordinate with banks, e-wallet providers, and PSPs on escalated payment or identity verification issues.
  • Provide management with regular reports on high-risk trends, team performance, and regulatory updates.

Training & Continuous Improvement

  • Deliver training sessions and updates on AMLC advisories, PAGCOR requirements, and global AML best practices.
  • Recommend enhancements to KYC/EDD workflows, screening tools, and risk scoring models.
  • Drive a culture of compliance, accuracy, and continuous improvement within the team.

Minimum Requirements

  • 3-4 years of progressive experience in KYC, AML, CDD/EDD. Or Compliance, preferably in Online Gaming, Payments, FinTech, or Banking.
  • At least 2 years in Supervisory or team lead role. Overseeing analysts in compliance, risk, or fraud operations.
  • Strong background in Enhance Due Diligence (EDD), including investigations involving PEPs, sanctions, adverse media, and complex ownership structures.
  • Direct experience with Source of Funds (SOF) and Source of Wealth (SOW) verification and escalation of high-risk cases.
  • Familiarity with PH AMLA (RA 9160), AMLC reporting obligations (STR/CTR), PAGCOR requirements, and international AML/CFT standards (FATF).
  • Hands-on experience using KYC/EDD screening tools, sanctions/PEP databases, and case management systems.
  • Advantageous: Prior involvement in regulatory audits, AMLC engagements, or coordination with PSPs/banks on compliance matters.
