Banquet and Events Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing all banquet functions, special events, and social gatherings held at the resort. This role ensures that each event runs smoothly and meets or exceeds guest expectations by coordinating with various departments and providing exceptional customer service.

Coordinate all aspects of banquet and event operations, from inquiry to post-event evaluation.

Meet with clients to determine event requirements, preferences, and budgets.

Prepare detailed event proposals, banquet event orders (BEOs), and function sheets.

Communicate event details to all concerned departments (kitchen, service, housekeeping, engineering, etc.).

Supervise banquet setup, service, and breakdown to ensure quality and efficiency.

Work closely with the F&B and Sales teams to maximize revenue opportunities.

Ensure compliance with resort standards, policies, and safety procedures.

Address guest concerns promptly and professionally before, during, and after events.

Monitor inventory of banquet supplies, linens, and equipment; coordinate with purchasing as needed.

Support the marketing of events and assist with promotional activities when required.

Prepare reports and feedback summaries after each event.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or related field preferred.

Minimum of 1–2 years' experience in banquet/events coordination or F&B service.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask under pressure.

Customer-oriented with a positive and professional demeanor.

Proficient in MS Office and familiar with event management software (an advantage).

Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
