About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated
Human Resources Officer
to join our office-based team in Cebu. This role is responsible for managing the full spectrum of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, compliance with Philippine labor regulations, and employee development. The position requires a strong understanding of local labor laws and the ability to work effectively while supporting operations that operate on
US-based hours
.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process: job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Maintain and update employee records in compliance with company policies and Philippine labor regulations.
  • Manage employee relations, address workplace concerns, and promote a positive and healthy work environment.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Monitor attendance, leave, and support payroll coordination with the accounting/finance team.
  • Support training and development initiatives for employees.
  • Ensure compliance with
    Philippine labor laws, DOLE requirements, and government-mandated benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG)
    .
  • Handle disciplinary actions, performance reviews, and employee engagement activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration
    , or a related field.
  • At least
    2–3 years of HR experience
    , preferably in a BPO, service, or corporate environment.
  • Strong knowledge of
    Philippine labor laws and government-mandated benefits
    .
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office and HR information systems (HRIS).
  • Flexibility and willingness to work in alignment with
    US-based time zones (PST–EST)
    .
