Job Summary: Primarily responsible for managing Accounts Receivable (AR) functions, ensuring timely updates, reconciliations, and accurate record-keeping. Acts as the primary point of contact and assumes responsibilities in the absence of the Accounting Supervisor.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Primary Accounts Receivable Functions:

  • Checking, posting, updating, and reconciliation of Accounts Receivable (AR).
  • Prepare and encode Statements of Account (SOA) and Account Envelopes for collection.
  • Ensure all invoices for collection are properly accounted for and processed.
  • Evaluate and process Sales Orders for approval, including Hold Sales Orders.
  • Conduct AR confirmation with accounts and assist in credit investigation.
  • Prepare and submit AR Reports and Alpha List Summary.
  • Ensure system balance with manual AR reports and verify tax implications on billing transactions.
  • Maintain organized filing of collection copies, SOAs, and supporting documents.

Knowledge and Support of ARS and Other AR Functions:

  • Understand and assist in Accounts Receivable to Supplier (ARS) processes when necessary.
  • Gather and prepare necessary supporting documents for claims to suppliers.
  • Coordinate with AR-Trade In-Charge, Sales, Promo & Merchandising Coordinator (PMC), and Head Office In-Charge for supplier claims.
  • Prepare and process Credit Memos for trade deductions related to ARS.
  • Ensure all trade deductions are accurately posted, applied, and billed accordingly.
  • Provide support to other AR associates in case of workload demands or absence.

Leadership and General Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact and assume responsibilities in the absence of the Accounting Supervisor.
  • Assist in conducting credit investigations of accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Accept and perform other functions as may be assigned by direct heads.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php13, Php14,000.00 per month
