Delab Collaborative Inc. is a design–fabrication studio specializing in 3D printing, laser cutting/engraving, and architectural model making.

We work with architects, designers, and universities to turn digital concepts into high-quality physical models.

Our fabrication space is located at Asia Pacific College (APC) in Makati, supporting both academic and professional design projects.

Position: Laser Operator / Shop Lead (APC Makati)

We're looking for a detail-oriented, motivated fabricator who takes pride in precision work and wants to grow with a small, creative design–fabrication team.

You'll operate laser cutters, assist in 3D printing and model assembly, maintain machines, and help manage production schedules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain laser cutting and engraving machines
  • Prepare and optimize AI, DXF, SVG files for production
  • Assist in 3D printing, model assembly, and finishing
  • Track materials, consumables, and job orders using Google Sheets
  • Calibrate and clean machines regularly to ensure precision
  • Maintain shop organization, safety, and cleanliness
  • Coordinate with the Delab team and APC faculty/staff through Slack and Google Workspace

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years experience in laser cutting, digital fabrication, or model making
  • Skilled in Adobe Illustrator, AutoCAD, or CorelDRAW
  • Organized, reliable, and detail-focused
  • Good communication skills in English and Filipino
  • Willing to work onsite full-time at APC Makati

Preferred (not required):

  • Experience using Rhino 3D
  • Familiarity with Bambu Lab or Prusa 3D printers
  • Eagerness to learn new fabrication tools (training provided)

Work Setup

Location: Asia Pacific College, Makati City

Schedule: Monday–Saturday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Type: Full-time, onsite

₱16,000 – ₱20,000/month starting (first 6 months)

Eligible for increase up to ₱25,000/month after 6-month performance review
