Duties & Responsibilities:


• Performing typical laser cutting operations.


• Selecting proper cutting programs and proper fixtures.


• Establishing proper stop locations and adjust laser beam focal point.


• Making proper set-ups for cutting operations.


• Performing prescribed maintenance as required.


• Performing all dimensional inspections.


• Setting-up equipment for cleaning, calibration, and other tasks to begin a production cycle.


• Managing and modifying the machine's parameters such as its speed.


• Providing parts or raw materials to semi-automated machinery.


• Inspecting parts with precision and measuring tools.


• Regularly checking the machines' functionality


• Addressing any problems that may arise during the shift.


• Checking output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws.


• Keeping records of approved and defective units or final products


• Maintaining activity logs.


• Reading blueprints/instructions and examining surfaces to determine the kind and amount of work necessary.


• Taking and adhering to all health and safety precautions.


• To be a team player to perform other assignments and projects as requested by your Immediate Head.
