Application Lead (Software Engineering)

About the Role

We are looking for an Application Lead who will take ownership of designing, building, and configuring applications while serving as the primary technical point of contact. In this role, you will collaborate with multiple teams, guide developers, support decision-making processes, and ensure that application performance and user experience remain exceptional. You will also ensure alignment across stakeholders and drive improvements in team efficiency and delivery.


Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the application and development processes.
  • Lead and manage the team to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of project tasks.
  • Make critical technical and team-related decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to major project decisions.
  • Identify and provide solutions to technical issues across teams.
  • Facilitate communication between stakeholders to maintain clarity and alignment.
  • Mentor and support team members' growth and development.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve team processes for higher efficiency and quality.

Professional & Technical Skills
Must-Have
  • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Azure DevOps
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on Azure DevOps experience
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing principles
  • Experience in Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD methodologies
  • Proficient in scripting and automation tools
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools
Good-to-Have
  • Experience with ASP.NET MVC

Additional Information
  • Position is based in Manila (Taguig – UT3).
  • Work setup is Hybrid, with 2 days onsite per week.
  • Shift schedule is 8 AM – 6 PM.
