SEO Specialist – Remote, Full-Time

Location: Remote

Hours: Monday–Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM (GMT)

Reports to: Head of Marketing

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced and detail-driven SEO Specialist to join our growing digital team. You'll be responsible for planning, executing, and optimising SEO strategies that drive traffic, improve rankings, and generate measurable results for our clients.

This role is perfect for someone who is hands-on with SEO tasks, highly analytical, and up to date with the latest search engine trends, tools, and best practices.

As an SEO Specialist, you'll take ownership of driving organic growth and visibility across multiple client websites. You'll blend strategic analysis with hands-on execution — optimizing performance, improving search rankings, and ensuring every SEO initiative delivers measurable results.

• Conduct comprehensive keyword research, competitor analysis, and SEO audits using tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Screaming Frog.
• Optimise website content, landing pages, and metadata in line with SEO best practices to improve visibility and engagement.
• Manage technical SEO tasks — including site speed, crawlability, schema markup, and indexing optimization.
• Develop and implement link-building and digital PR strategies to strengthen domain authority and backlink profiles.
• Track, analyze, and report on key SEO KPIs (rankings, organic traffic, CTR, conversions) using Ahrefs, Google Analytics 4, and Search Console.
• Collaborate with content, design, and development teams to ensure SEO best practices are consistently implemented.
• Stay informed about Google algorithm updates, new SEO tools, and emerging trends to maintain a competitive edge.
• Lead local SEO initiatives, including Google Business Profile optimization, citations, and review generation.

• 2–3+ years of hands-on experience as an SEO Specialist or SEO Manager.
• Expert-level proficiency in Ahrefs — able to conduct competitor analysis, backlink audits, keyword tracking, and content gap analysis with confidence.
• Strong knowledge of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO principles.
• Advanced use of SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Analytics 4, and Google Search Console.
• Proven ability to conduct site audits, identify technical issues, and execute practical fixes.
• Skilled in keyword research, search intent mapping, and content optimization (metadata, H1s, schema, internal linking).
• Experience in backlink analysis and link-building outreach using Ahrefs data to identify high-value opportunities.
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with the ability to identify and resolve SEO-related issues.
• Experience improving Core Web Vitals, page speed, and mobile performance.
• Ability to implement and troubleshoot structured data/schema markup.
• Strong understanding of local SEO, including GBP management, citations, and reputation optimization.
• Analytical thinker — confident in measuring, reporting, and presenting SEO performance insights.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with strong attention to detail and organization.

• Experience managing websites on Wix Studio and Webflow
• Familiarity with conversion rate optimization (CRO) and A/B testing.
• Knowledge of international SEO and multilingual site structures.
• Experience with Google Tag Manager and advanced tracking implementations.
• Prior experience working in an agency or multi-client environment is an advantage.
