Position Overview

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient inventory management, accurate documentation, and smooth coordination with various departments. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and attention to detail to maintain effective stock control and timely distribution of supplies to different outlets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise warehouse operations including receiving, storing, issuing, and dispatching of goods.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy through regular stock counts and reconciliations.
  • Implement and enforce warehouse policies, safety standards, and security measures.
  • Coordinate with Purchasing, Logistics, and Operations teams to ensure timely delivery of supplies to outlets.
  • Lead, train, and evaluate warehouse staff to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on inventory levels, discrepancies, and warehouse performance.
  • Oversee proper storage and handling of food and non-food items in compliance with company and government standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and compliance with health and safety regulations within the warehouse.
  • Suggest process improvements to optimize warehouse operations and reduce costs.
