JOB TITLE: Business Process Specialist
REPORTS TO: Regional Operations Manager
JOB LEVEL REQUIRED: Graduate of BS Accountancy, BS Internal Audit, Industrial Engineering, preferably with Internal Audit or Quality Management Certification.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The ideal candidate will stay informed about industry best practices and recommend their implementation to improve efficiency and save costs. They will be responsible for identifying bottlenecks and weaknesses in current workflows and controls, proposing solutions to mitigate risks and improve overall productivity. This includes ensuring past audit recommendations are addressed and planning for future operational audits across different departments. The role also involves training staff on relevant policies and procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Efficiency and Effectiveness
- Stay updated on industry best practices for efficiency and effectiveness. Recommend implementations of these practices within the organization to streamline operations and contribute cost savings.
- Regularly examine processes and workflows and pinpoint bottlenecks that slow down operations and hinder productivity.
Internal Control and Risk Management
- Regularly analyze how effectively internal controls are implemented to prevent errors, fraud, and waste. Identify and propose risk mitigation programs in those areas where controls are weak or lacking, leading to inefficiencies.
- Ensure past audit recommendations are implemented in current process audit.
Policies and Procedures Compliance
- Propose and plan for operational audits in all business units.
- Execute operations audit and assess company operations, process, financial, compliance and other associated risks
People Management
- Conduct training and mentoring on policies and procedures to all departments.
Qualifications
- Graduate of BS Accountancy, BS Internal Audit, Industrial Engineering, preferably with Internal Audit or Quality Management Certification
- Solid knowledge and practice in internal audit and process improvement work, Computer proficiency in MS Office, internal audit tools and process improvment frameworks, Analytical Skills, Oral and Written Communications, Attention to Detail, and Organized.
