Role Overview

As a Data Research Analyst, you will play a vital role in managing and enriching Customer Master Data, ensuring it meets the highest standards of accuracy, reliability, and relevance. This role involves analysing, processing, and cleansing customer and account information, conducting research on firmographics, industry classification, financials, and other key attributes. Your efforts will directly support strategic decision-making, data-driven insights, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and enrich the company's Customer Master Data, which serves as the source of truth for customer reporting and analytics.
  • Collect and update company-level attributes, including contact details, parent- child company relationships, approved industry classifications, key identifiers, and footprint mapping.
  • Conduct in-depth research on company data using tools like FactSet, Dun Bradstreet, and other trusted sources to gather firmographics, technographics, and industry-specific insights.
  • Ensure that customer data is accurate, clean, and up-to-date by cleansing and verifying information across multiple data sources.
  • Monitor data quality and develop mechanisms to improve accuracy and reliability in data processes.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, press releases, and developments in key business segments.
  • Collaborate with team members on problem-solving initiatives to address operational challenges.
  • Report to the team leader and maintain master datasets across the organization's IT systems.

Experience & Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Management, or other quantitative fields.
  • 2–6 years of relevant work experience as a Data/Research Analyst, with a good foundation in customer data management.
  • Skilled in using research tools such as FactSet and/or Dun & Bradstreet (preferred but not required).
  • Proficiency in firmographics, industry classifications, contacts data research, and data validation.
  • Familiarity with Customer Master Data Management tools like Informatica EDM (preferred).
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel; working knowledge of SQL and/or Salesforce is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration and reporting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in data enrichment processes and familiarity with data quality monitoring tools.
  • Ability to analyse and integrate insights from various data sources effectively.
  • Adaptability to rapidly changing business environments and commitment to ongoing learning.
  • Working experience with Power Automate and knowledge about Reltio MDM and Dataplex.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: Php40, Php60,000.00 per month
