Business Intelligence Developer

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is primarily responsible for producing business intelligence reports using tools such as Synapse, SSIS and SSRS. The main function in this role will be to develop and/or make enhancements to our current ETL processes and provide production support, ideal candidate should have experienced scripting SQL database queries and can modify these queries based on specific customer needs. Another responsibility would be to create documentations to present technical information that we can use to develop business solutions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with a team of analysts and other associates to process information.
  • Analyze documentation and technical specifications to determine intended functionality.
  • Implement BI reports based on the above requirements.
  • Analyze existing reports and optimize them for standardization.
  • Work with business unit to identify opportunities.
  • Collaborate with team members to collect and analyze data.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proficiency in T-SQL and developing SQL queries utilizing SSMS.
  • Able to create and optimize stored procedures.
  • Experience developing Synapse or SSRS/SSIS within Visual Studio.
  • Knowledge of TFS/Azure Dev OPS Server.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • A minimum of Bachelor's degree required; or equivalent experience.
  • 5-8 years of development experience.
  • Knowledgeable of relevant software products.
  • Applicants should be amenable to work on a nightshift/graveyard schedule following EST/CST Timezone (9PM to 6AM or 10PM to 7AM).
