Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, train, and guide housekeeping staff in daily operations.
  • Inspect guest rooms, common areas, and back-of-house areas to maintain cleanliness standards.
  • Assign tasks, prepare schedules, and ensure proper workload distribution.
  • Monitor housekeeping inventory and request supplies as needed.
  • Report and coordinate maintenance issues for timely resolution.
  • Handle guest requests and complaints related to housekeeping.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, hygiene, and safety standards.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching to staff.
  • Assist in the training and orientation of new employees.

Qualifications:

  • At least 2-3 years of housekeeping experience in hospitality, with 1 year in a supervisory role or team leader preferred.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques, safety practices, and housekeeping equipment.
  • Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
