Job Description

As a Senior Auditor, you will manage audit engagements, maintain strong client relationships, review financial statements, and ensure compliance with accounting and auditing standards. You will also mentor junior auditors, resolve complex audit issues, and contribute to high-quality deliverables across multiple engagements.

The Qualifications We Seek

Essential

• Bachelor's degree in Business/Commerce with an Accounting major
• At least 2 years of end-to-end external audit experience

Desirable

• Commenced or recently completed CPA (or equivalent qualification)

Experience & Attributes

• Strong understanding and practical application of the Corporations Act, Australian Accounting and Auditing Standards, and related legislation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High attention to detail with strong documentation accuracy
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within audit teams
• Proven problem-solving and sound decision-making skills

Your Daily Tasks

• Complete audit work papers by documenting audit tests and findings of significant and complex audit areas
• Identify and address technical accounting and audit issues
• Review financial statements to ensure compliance with Accounting Standards and prepare management reports and opinions
• Conduct multiple audit engagements concurrently with various team members
• Assist in managing and coordinating the audit team, including training, mentoring, and ensuring compliance with audit methodologies
