The Finance Director is responsible for providing strategic financial leadership, overseeing financial planning and analysis, accounting, compliance, treasury, and risk management for both local and global operations. This role ensures that financial practices are aligned with the company's objectives and global standards, driving sustainable growth, profitability, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the organization's financial strategy to support business objectives across multiple regions.

  • Partner with the CEO, executive leadership, and business unit heads to provide financial insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making.

  • Lead long-range financial planning, scenario modeling, and forecasting to ensure financial sustainability.

  • Oversee annual budget preparation, quarterly forecasts, and variance analysis for both local and global entities.

  • Provide timely and insightful financial performance reports, dashboards, and KPIs to stakeholders.

  • Identify opportunities for cost optimization, margin improvement, and operational efficiency.

  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing across all entities.

  • Maintain compliance with local and international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP) and regulatory requirements.

  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure successful audit outcomes.

  • Manage global cash flow, working capital, and foreign exchange exposure.

  • Optimize funding structures, intercompany transactions, and liquidity planning to support global operations.

  • Establish banking relationships and oversee treasury operations.

  • Develop and implement robust internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with corporate policies.

  • Assess financial and operational risks and implement mitigation strategies.

  • Support enterprise risk management initiatives and business continuity planning.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team across multiple geographies.

  • Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration.

  • Ensure alignment of finance teams with global processes and shared service models (if applicable).

  • Act as the key liaison with external partners, including auditors, tax advisors, banks, and regulatory bodies.

  • Provide regular updates to the Board of Directors and executive committee.

  • Support mergers & acquisitions (M&A), due diligence, and post-acquisition integration where applicable.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field (CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred).

  • 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, including exposure to multinational operations.

  • Deep knowledge of IFRS/US GAAP, tax regulations, and corporate governance frameworks.

  • Proven track record in strategic financial planning, risk management, and global treasury.

  • Experience in leading cross-border teams and managing multi-entity financial operations.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Excel/BI tools.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php280, Php330,000.00 per month
