Job Objective:

To effectively and efficiently manage the accounting process to ensure the provision of accurate and timely financial information that supports sound business decisions in hotel operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the full accounting operations and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in support of hotel operations.
  • Develop and implement accounting systems, policies, and procedures in compliance with business objectives and regulatory standards.
  • Lead the preparation of annual budgets, monitor performance against budget, and provide variance analysis and recommendations.
  • Review and approve financial documents, vouchers, and other related reports within the scope of authority.
  • Monitor and control branch-level financial transactions, including revenue, expenses, payroll, and asset depreciation.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory tax requirements and facilitate timely filing and payment of taxes.
  • Supervise the generation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for management and Board review.
  • Support Hotel Managers during the budget preparation process and review submitted budgets for accuracy and alignment with financial goals.
  • Conduct regular assessments of accounting systems and processes, recommending enhancements to improve efficiency and data integrity.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external agencies regarding financial audits, permits, licenses, and other regulatory matters.
  • Manage and coach accounting personnel, including performance evaluation, competency development, and implementation of disciplinary actions when needed.
  • Promote effective communication, teamwork, and compliance with company policies within the accounting department.
  • Uphold high standards of professionalism, accuracy, and ethical financial management across all accounting activities.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is a plus but not required
  • At least five (5) years of supervisory experience in a similar accounting environment and another 5 years for management role
  • Strong background in financial management and tax compliance
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Proficient in accounting systems and Microsoft Office applications

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php33, Php40,000.00 per month
