Job Summary:

The Finance & Accounting (F&A) Cluster Leader will be responsible for overseeing and managing end-to-end F&A operations for a large-scale delivery unit comprising 1,000+ full-time employees. This role provides strategic leadership across multiple finance functions—including Record to Report (R2R), Order to Cash (O2C), and Procure to Pay (P2P)—ensuring operational excellence, process standardization, compliance, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate has strong client-facing experience, global delivery management, and a proven ability to lead large, complex teams in a shared services/BPO environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a multi-functional F&A team of 1,000+ FTEs across various finance towers (R2R, O2C, P2P)
  • Drive service delivery excellence through KPI monitoring, SLA adherence, and continuous improvement
  • Serve as a key contact for clients and stakeholders, ensuring strong governance and relationship management
  • Provide strategic direction for team structure, performance, and long-term operational planning
  • Oversee talent management, succession planning, and leadership development within the cluster
  • Lead transformation initiatives using automation, analytics, and best practices to drive efficiency
  • Manage risk and compliance in line with global accounting standards and internal controls
  • Support transitions, ramp-ups, and migrations of new processes or client accounts as needed
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as HR, IT, Quality, and Finance for support alignment
  • Prepare and present performance reviews, financial reports, and business insights to executive leadership

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
  • 12+ years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounting operations
  • 5+ years in a senior leadership role managing large-scale teams (minimum 500+ FTEs; ideally 1,000+)
  • Strong experience in shared services, GBS, or BPO operations
  • Proven track record in client engagement, business transformation, and P&L management
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
  • Proficient in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and process automation tools
  • Knowledge of global financial standards, SOX compliance, and internal controls

Preferred Skills:

  • Six Sigma / Lean certification
  • Experience working with multinational clients across different regions (US, EMEA, APAC)
  • Strong analytical, project management, and decision-making abilities
