Procurement Analyst

Responsible for implementing the procurement plans which includes procurement of goods and services. Analyzes cost, negotiates contact details, evaluates suppliers, and offers strategies and solutions to find the best deals possible.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Orders materials and ensures the purchase of materials within the prescribed time is observed.
- Compares prices among various vendors for a sound purchasing decision.
- Negotiates with contractors on several items so terms and goods are satisfactory.
- Checks documentation, particularly invoices for accuracy and initiates accounts payable department to process payment.
- Processes accreditation/re-accreditation of vendors including ocular visit, supplier presentation, coordination meeting, etc.
- Coordinates with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation.
- Maintains and updates supplier's directory and safekeep suppliers' records and files.
- Prepares and maintains purchasing files, reports, and prices list
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or any related course.
- At least one (1) year work experience in purchasing or related functions.
- Fundamental knowledge in procurement sourcing and vendor management.
- Good verbal and written English and Filipino communication skills
- Good analytical/critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Must be well-organized, practiced effective time management and ability to handle complex, varied workload.
- Must be able to work independently and able to adapt to constant work transitions.
