The Role

As a Senior Web Developer, you will design, develop, and deploy custom ERP applications and modules—primarily using Python and Odoo. You'll collaborate directly with clients, understand their business processes, and deliver tailored solutions that make a real impact. Beyond coding, you'll mentor junior developers, help shape technical direction, and contribute to the overall success of the team.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze client business requirements (mostly SMEs) and translate them into ERP solutions
  • Develop, customize, and deploy Odoo modules and ERP applications
  • Build and maintain backend systems using Python and PostgreSQL
  • Create integrations with third-party tools and APIs as needed
  • Document project design, architecture, and implementation clearly
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers
  • Assist in training clients on using deployed systems effectively
  • Collaborate with the team to continuously improve workflows and solutions

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • 3+ years of professional development experience, with a strong focus on Python and backend development
  • Experience in Odoo or ERP application development (custom modules, workflows, integrations)
  • Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and database optimization
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Proactive, creative, and highly autonomous problem solver
  • Based in Davao City/Region (with flexibility to work from home)

Nice-to-Have

  • Frontend experience with HTML5, Bootstrap, JavaScript
  • Background in digital marketing or eCommerce integrations
  • Passion for helping SMEs grow through tech
  • Strong analytical and solution-oriented mindset
