Paralegal (Compliance and Documentation)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assists in the filing and service of pleadings such as but not limited to complaints, answers, pretrial briefs, motions, position papers and other court processes;
  • Maintains the schedule of hearings, mediation conferences and due date to file pleadings;
  • Assists in trial preparation and settlement of the case;
  • Liaises with court personnel and coordinates with the sheriff for service of summons, eviction of defendants and case status;
  • Organizes and maintains filing systems (hard and electronic copies);
  • Reports status of cases monthly;
  • Performs other duties as may be assigned by the Deputy Head from time to time.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in any related courses.
  • Has at least 2 years experience in a law firm or legal department.
  • Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Microsoft 365
  • Can work under pressure self-motivated, organized keen attention to detail has strong coordination skills.
  • Must be open to work on-site at Tinio Mandaluyong City
