Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented BIM Modeler – MEPFS (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and Sanitary) to join our team. The role involves developing, coordinating, and managing accurate 3D BIM models to support design, construction, and as-built documentation for building projects. The BIM Modeler will work closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure precise integration of MEPFS systems in accordance with project requirements, codes, and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, update, and maintain 3D BIM models for MEPFS disciplines using Revit and other BIM software.
  • Interpret design drawings, specifications, and schematics to create coordinated BIM models.
  • Perform clash detection and resolve coordination issues between MEPFS and other trades.
  • Generate accurate shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and as-built documentation from BIM models.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and company BIM execution plans.
  • Assist in preparing quantity take-offs and material schedules based on models.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project stakeholders for design and construction coordination.
  • Maintain proper version control and documentation of models.
  • Support BIM implementation, standards development, and process improvements within the company.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related engineering/technical course.
  • Proven experience as a BIM Modeler, specifically in MEPFS disciplines.
  • Proficiency in Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and other BIM-related software.
  • Strong understanding of MEPFS systems, construction methods, and building codes.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
