The Facilities Manager is accountable for the entire management of services and processes that support Store Operations on engineering concerns. Ensures the most suitable working environment for its employees and their activities and focusing on the use of best industry practices to improve efficiency of operating costs whilst increasing productivity.

Responsibilities:

Managing and supervising the entire engineering personnel team under his/her area of responsibility.

Plan periodic training and development programs for all engineering personnel.

Ensuring compliance of engineering personnel to set departmental procedures and organizational policies.

Administrative Task:

Monitoring the entire engineering including all ongoing projects and operations services, especially pending works, under his/her area of responsibility.

Managing, supervising and coordinating work of suppliers, service providers or contractors for projects under FMO by:

Checking that the agreed work by staff or contractors has been completed satisfactory and follows up on any deficiencies.

Using performance management techniques to monitor and demonstrate achievement of agreed service levels and to lead on improvements.

Investigating availability and suitable options for new purchases by calculating and comparing cost for required goods or services to achieve maximum cost efficiency.

Setting departmental directions in coordination with other Facilities Managers and the VP-Admin.

Brings to the attention of the Chairman and the VP-Admin any and all major or critical engineering concerns especially those that may impact store or office operations or may pose risks or hazards for the organization.

Performs other engineering management tasks as may be assigned by the Chairman or the VP-Admin.

Requirements:

Graduate of Mechanical or Electrical Engineer

With at least ten (10) years of working experience related to engineering field

Preferably Licensed Mechanical or Electrical Engineer
