Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to join our Finance team as a Vendor Debits Analyst specializing in Marketing Accounting. The role is responsible for managing vendor debit transactions, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accuracy and compliance in financial records related to marketing activities. The ideal candidate has strong accounting knowledge, advanced Excel skills, and experience with ERP or finance systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage vendor debit transactions related to marketing activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Perform account reconciliations, validations, and variance analysis for marketing vendor accounts.
  • Collaborate with marketing and finance teams to review debit memos, claims, and supporting documentation.
  • Monitor and track vendor-related adjustments and settlements in the system.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls.
  • Generate and analyze reports to support decision-making and identify process improvements.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, finance, or vendor debit processing (marketing accounting background preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (SUMIFS, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
  • Experience in ERP systems or other financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday, or equivalent).
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in marketing-related financial reconciliations or claims management.
  • Strong communication skills for coordinating with cross-functional teams and vendors.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and reporting standards.
