Senior SEO Expert – Multi-Brand Luxury & Lifestyle Portfolio

What Makes This Role Different

Yes, this is a senior position. But you will not just be managing SEO from afar. You will own the strategy and execution, rolling up your sleeves and delivering the work yourself. From technical site fixes to content architecture, you will be the one making it happen, supported by junior staff where needed.You will also be expected to handle on-page implementation yourself, so HTML, CSS and a bit of Python are part of your everyday toolkit.

You Must Bring

  • 15+ years of deep SEO expertise including technical, on-page, content, link building and analytics.
  • Strong HTML and CSS skills, comfortable editing site code directly.
  • Working knowledge of Python for data scraping, automation and bulk SEO tasks.
  • AI SEO fluency, using AI for keyword clustering, semantic search optimisation and smart automation.
  • Topical authority skills, structuring content ecosystems to dominate entire subject areas.
  • Tool power-user skills: Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Surfer SEO, Google Search Console, GA4 and others.
  • Exceptional English and communication skills because E-E-A-T is built on authority and trust.
  • Relationship-driven link building with no spammy shortcuts, only quality, relevant backlinks.
  • Data-led decision making, tracking, measuring and refining constantly.
  • A hands-on mindset so you do not wait for a developer, you can be the developer when needed.

What You'll Do

  • Lead SEO strategy and execution across multiple brands.
  • Build and scale topical authority in competitive markets.
  • Implement AI-powered SEO workflows without sacrificing editorial quality.
  • Directly handle all on-page SEO changes, including HTML and CSS edits.
  • Use Python to automate and optimise SEO processes where appropriate.
  • Oversee and mentor junior SEO staff.
  • Produce high-impact, E-E-A-T-compliant content strategies.
  • Monitor rankings, traffic and ROI, and continuously optimise.
