  • Receives patient from the emergency room.
  • Helps with assessment of patient under his/her care and the newly admitted so as to collect relevant data and information.
  • Plans the care to be provided by making use of available resources.
  • Prepares the patient and the necessary equipment for diagnostic procedures and assists the Physician.
  • Carries out doctor's order and monitors patient's condition.
  • Intravenous insertion and maintains accurate record of fluids administered to the patients.
  • Receives and endorses patients' condition and treatment prescribed by the Physician.
  • Records vital signs and informs the Physician of any changes in patients' condition.
  • Maintains and updates all relevant data on patients' charts.
  • Gives health teaching.
  • Receives telephone orders from physician in a tactful and helpful manner.
  • Maintains confidentiality of patients' records.
  • Maintains good professional relationship with patients' relatives as well as informs them of any changes in patients' condition.
  • Participates in the rehabilitation of patients and making plans for discharge.
  • Checks and countersigns intravenous fluids followed up by the nursing aid/midwife
  • Checks and fills up any lacking information in the patients' charts.
  • Counter checks the medication given by the medication nurse.
  • Discharges patients
  • Performs any other tasks that maybe assigned by the immediate superior or by the Hospital Management.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From Php20,220.00 per month
