We arehiring a talented Billing Specialist to join our team in Davao City, Davao del Sur. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely billing of our clients. As a Billing Specialist, you will be responsible for processing invoices, managing accounts receivable, and providing excellent customer service to our valued customers.

What you'll be doing

  • • Review delivered goods and services along with related documents (e.g., delivery tickets, prescriptions, medical records) for accuracy and completeness

    • Log authorizations to ensure timely payments and minimize claim denials

    • Process insurance changes quickly and secure updated authorizations as required

    • Identify missing or incorrect documentation and update records or escalate as needed

    • Request prescriptions and supporting documents promptly; follow up to ensure approval

    • Handle denials through resubmission, appeals, or account adjustments in line with policy

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 6 months of experience in accounts receivable or prior authorization
  • Background in healthcare, insurance, or medical documentation environments
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numbers with a high degree of accuracy
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients
  • Proficient in using accounting software and the Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Thorough understanding of relevant industry regulations and best practices
