Job Description

THE OPPORTUNITY

Join our client, a global leader in independent medical examinations and document management services, trusted by insurers, law firms, and government agencies. They provide accurate, secure, and timely medical documentation that supports critical decisions in healthcare and insurance.

As they continue to expand, they are looking for a Collections Associate to join their team. In this role, you'll be responsible responsible for business unit collections activity and ensuring timely receipt of payment. This position monitors aging accounts, sends out regular communication and works directly with our corporate clients, all in accordance with company policies and procedures and state and federal guidelines.

This position requires daily onsite work at our BGC office, aligned with US EST: 8:30pm - 5:30am PHT.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review aging accounts over 30 days and contact clients to collect outstanding payments.
  • Send current or past-due invoices and follow up on any billing issues.
  • Communicate with clients to resolve invoice discrepancies and pursue overdue balances.
  • Research and respond to inquiries about payments and invoices.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential billing and accounting files.
  • Report unresolved customer disputes to management and provide information for audits.
  • Perform general clerical duties such as phone support, filing, scanning, photocopying, and other assigned tasks.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION

  • Has background and experience in healthcare/medical.
  • Proficient in general computer operations and telephone systems.
  • Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to compliance.
  • Experienced with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and common file formats including PDF and TIFF.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to convey information clearly and accurately.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
  • Capable of working effectively under pressure and in high-stress environments, while maintaining focus and productivity amidst distractions.
