Job Overview:

We are looking for an Asset Inventory Lead to manage and track server hardware assets across multiple branch locations. This role ensures accurate inventory records, supports deployment tracking, and maintains audit readiness for large-scale IT infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities Summary:

  • Maintain up-to-date records of all server-related assets.
  • Coordinate asset delivery, tagging, deployment, and retirement.
  • Work closely with project teams, engineers, and vendors to reconcile inventory data.
  • Ensure compliance with IT asset policies and prepare audit reports.
  • Generate reports and dashboards to track asset status and utilization.
  • Use tools like ServiceNow, Excel, and CMDB systems for asset management.
  • Resolve asset issues such as missing or defective equipment and escalate as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Logistics, Supply Chain, or any 4-year computer-related course.
  • 3–6 years of experience in IT asset inventory, logistics, or infrastructure support.
  • Experience handling asset tracking across multiple sites or branches.
  • Strong knowledge of Excel, Google Sheets, or inventory tools like ServiceNow.
  • Familiarity with IT hardware (servers, peripherals) is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent coordination, communication, and attention to detail.
  • Willing to work overtime or weekends when necessary.
  • Certified IT Asset Manager (CITAM) preferred, not required
  • Certified Hardware Asset Management Professional (CHAMP) preferred, not required
  • ITIL Foundation preferred, not required
