Job Title: Medical Virtual Assistant

Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Virtual Assistant (MVA) to provide comprehensive administrative and billing support to our healthcare clients. The MVA will be responsible for a range of tasks, including patient interaction, insurance verification, claims management, and general office support, ensuring smooth and efficient practice operations.

Key Responsibilities

A. Patient & Communication Management

  • Managing Phones: Efficiently respond to patient inquiries, manage scheduling, take pre-exam patient histories, confirm appointments, and accurately transfer calls to the appropriate staff members.
  • Correspondence: Deal with both digital and physical correspondence, process mail by posting it accurately to the Electronic Health Record (EHR), and oversee necessary follow-up actions.
  • Calendar & Scheduling: Handle full scheduling and calendar management for the client/provider.

B. Billing & Insurance Support

  • Eligibility & Benefits: Conduct pre-exam verification of insurance eligibility, benefits, and coverage.
  • Authorization: Secure necessary treatment authorizations from payers.
  • Claims Management: Submit claims, respond to claim denials, and resolve Explanation of Benefits (EOB) issues.
  • Issue Resolution: Proactively identify and find solutions for common medical billing issues to ensure maximum reimbursement.

Qualifications & Skills

Required

  • Education: Graduate of any Medical Allied Course (e.g., Nursing, Physical Therapy, Medical Technology).
  • Technical: Has basic to intermediate computer proficiency.
  • Schedule: Willingness to work US Hours (Graveyard Shift).
  • Work Arrangement: Must be willing to work on-site (McKinley West, Taguig).
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Experience: Preferably with experience in a customer service field within the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) industry.
  • Fresh graduates of Medical Allied courses are welcome and encouraged to apply.
  • Traits: Analytical, highly organized, and systematic approach to tasks.
  • Work Ethic: Process-oriented, able to follow strict timelines, and capable of working effectively with very minimal supervision.
  • Collaboration: A proactive and reliable team player.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php22, Php25,000.00 per month
