Job Description

As a Junior Accountant, you will support the financial management of real estate portfolios by preparing reports, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accurate financial records. You'll collaborate closely with U.S.-based teams to deliver reliable financial insights that help strengthen communities and operations.

The Qualifications We Seek

  • Minimum 1-3 years of business accounting experience
  • Excellent English-language communication skills (oral and written)
  • Excellent educational credentials with a focus on accounting
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential is a plus
  • Familiarity with GAAP accounting standards
  • High comfort level with technology, especially web-based software and platforms
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment producing high-quality results
  • Can easily build rapport with team members, other staff, clients, and service providers

Your Daily Tasks

  • Assume ownership of the reconciliation process for CAM buildings/portfolios
  • Summarize current financial status by preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports
  • Review monthly financial statements for CAM buildings/portfolios
  • Handle direct financial reporting for a portfolio of community condo and homeowners' associations
  • Reconcile and report on CAM and corporate accounts in collaboration with the Chicago-based team
  • Prepare payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements
  • Support budget and forecasting activities
  • Assist in the onboarding of new community associations
  • Answer accounting procedure questions as needed
  • Contribute to continuous improvements in internal processes across accounting and operations
