Job Description

As a Junior Accounts Payable Specialist, you'll collaborate with a Chicago-based team to process invoices, maintain payment accuracy, and ensure seamless financial operations. This role offers international exposure, continuous learning, and the opportunity to grow in a high-performing, globally aligned finance environment.

The Qualifications We Seek

  • 1 to 3 years of relevant experience
  • High degree of comfort and fluency in English
  • Flexibility with respect to work schedule, with overlap during Chicago-based business hours
  • Ability to manage voluminous workloads
  • Strong organizational skills
  • High comfort level with technology, especially web-based software like Google Suite

Nice-to-Have / Non-Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in property management or real estate
  • Experience with Zendesk
  • Experience with an accounts payable management system
  • Customer service background

Your Daily Tasks

  • Work with existing Philippines and Chicago-based personnel to understand all business lines and contribute to organizational success
  • Efficiently organize and process inbound invoices and submit them to managers for approval and payment through the payables system (Strongroom)
  • Assist in moving invoices through approval steps as needed by management
  • Research and provide additional information on invoices in the approval process or payments made to vendors
