About the role

Digital8 Inc. is seeking a talented and driven Social Media Assistant to join our dynamic team. As a Social Media Assistant, you will play a crucial role in executing our social media strategy and engaging with our growing online community.

What you'll be doing

  • Create and curate engaging social media and news content across all platforms
  • Write compelling and brand-aligned captions that drive engagement and interaction
  • Design basic graphics and visual assets for posts, updates, and news features
  • Schedule and publish social media and news content to ensure consistent messaging and frequency
  • Monitor and respond promptly and professionally to comments, messages, and inquiries
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement creative social media and news campaigns
  • Track and analyze social media metrics, providing regular reports and actionable insights
  • Work toward measurable goals to increase visibility, engagement, and reach
  • Stay informed on the latest news, trends, best practices, and platform updates in social media

What we're looking for

  • 1-2 years of experience in a social media or digital marketing role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and their best practices
  • Proficiency in using social media management tools (e.g. Hootsuite, Buffer, Canva)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Creative and innovative mindset with a keen eye for detail
  • Familiarity with data analysis and reporting

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20, Php25,000.00 per month
