Seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer responsible for validating and verifying software products in a team-based environment. The role involves working closely with US counterparts on a night shift schedule, with flexible hours after training.

Key Responsibilities

  • Test software upgrades, enhancements, new products, and deployments
  • Automate API, functional, and regression tests
  • Design, write, and execute functional, regression, and performance tests
  • Review user stories and product requirements for testing purposes
  • Identify risks or design flaws and recommend solutions
  • Document and track defects through resolution with developers and project managers
  • Participate in continuous delivery cycles
  • Collaborate with team members on planning, design, and task execution

Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of web-based software application design, programming, and coding standards
  • Ability to write code for automated API, UI, and performance tests
  • Familiarity with JSON, XML, and writing SQL queries
  • Familiarity with .NET technologies and some exposure to Python
  • Experience testing APIs using tools like Postman and some use of Selenium
  • Knowledge of QA methodologies, best practices, and software testing lifecycle
  • Hands-on experience in testing web-based applications and automation or performance testing
  • Exposure to Agile development environments
  • Experience with REST/SOAP API integrations
  • Familiarity with Visual Studio or Visual Studio Code and Git
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
  • Ability to manage tasks and timelines independently
  • Good communication skills and proactive attitude

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php90, Php100,000.00 per month
