Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Web Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality web applications and websites. This role requires a strong foundation in both front-end and back-end development, with a focus on creating responsive, user-friendly interfaces and robust server-side solutions. The Web Developer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless digital experiences that meet business objectives and enhance user engagement.

Duties

  • Design, develop, and maintain responsive websites and web applications using technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Angular, , and Bootstrap.
  • Build and optimize server-side components utilizing frameworks like Django, ASP.NET, Ruby on Rails, , and
  • Develop RESTful APIs and integrate third-party web services using SOAP, GraphQL, and REST standards.
  • Manage databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB, SQLite, and Redis; perform data visualization and ensure efficient data storage solutions.
  • Implement system architecture strategies for scalable web applications with DevOps practices involving Docker, Ansible, Jenkins, GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket repositories (SVN), CI/CD pipelines.
  • Utilize version control systems effectively to track changes and collaborate seamlessly across teams.
  • Create wireframes and user flows to enhance UX/UI design in collaboration with designers using tools like Visual Studio Code or Visual Studio.
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimize websites for SEO and performance.
  • Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure high-quality code delivery.
  • Maintain documentation of development processes adhering to SDLC methodologies within Agile frameworks like Jira or Trello.
  • Participate in system architecture planning for application development projects involving cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in full-stack web development with proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript) and back-end frameworks (Django, ASP.NET MVC/.NET Core, Ruby on Rails).
  • Strong knowledge of database management systems including MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MongoDB; experience with data visualization tools is a plus.
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker), configuration management (Ansible), CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins), version control systems (Git/GitHub), and cloud services (AWS/Azure).
  • Experience working within Agile development environments using tools like Jira or Trello.
  • Ability to develop RESTful APIs and integrate various web services using SOAP or GraphQL standards.
  • Knowledge of UI/UX principles including wireframing and responsive web design techniques to create intuitive user experiences.
  • Strong understanding of system architecture principles for scalable application deployment.
  • Experience with front-end libraries/frameworks such as or Angular; familiarity with Redux or similar state management tools is desirable.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and performance optimization strategies for websites.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills along with the ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team environment.
