Summary of Position:

The role of assistant brand managers is to participate and help in developing a brand's different faces in terms of business. They help achieve its success in the industry by developing effective marketing strategies for their brand to be competitive in the market. Assistant brand managers are expected to have years of experience in marketing and sales.

Job Functions:

  • Developing high-quality and effective marketing materials that align correctly with the overall brand strategy.
  • Realistic forecasting of sales and volume for the brand ensuring all parts of the company are agreed accordingly.
  • Presenting the brand strategy to the manager and sales and marketing teams at internal meetings and conferences.
  • Managing external agencies and ensuring marketing budgets are met.
  • Analyzing the brand and current strategy and highlighting areas of weaknesses or conflicting messages.
  • Creating a brand plan and brand strategy and ensuring all aspects of the product or company marketing and activities align with the goals of the brand.
  • Creating an enduring brand message that results in increased sales, brand loyalty, and improving market share.
  • Championing the brand internally making sure all elements of the company understand the brand and its goal.
  • Working closely with all parts of the company to ensure the commercial goals of the brand are met.
  • Managing all aspects of the brand through the supply chain both tangible and intangible.
  • Monitoring their sales and profitability
  • Supporting the brand manager in all decision
  • Making sure that the level of competitiveness of their brand in the market is high.
  • Seek out new marketing opportunities that fit with the brand and maximizing all opportunities for growth.
  • Champions new product cycle to successfully launch innovations from R&D to sales performance and sustaining activities.

Qualifications:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor/College Degree. Preferably Marketing, Management or equivalent
  • Minimum 6 years of Marketing and Branding experience
  • Worked in a Food Industry or in a Local FMCG is a plus.
  • Knows how to read and deliver P&L (Profit & Loss)
  • Has experience in doing Business Review with ease (using internal data and external findings) and uses this as the basis for recommendations
  • Has a strong DIGITAL background - knows how to effectively utilize all the relevant platforms and read the diagnostics
  • Consumer-driven and externally oriented - look at insights, competition, the economic landscape, new technologies
  • Knows the 6Ps well enough (Positioning, Product, Packaging, Place, Price, Promotion)
  • Must know and understand advanced features of Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and knowledge of HTML.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and a high level of customer service skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php50, Php80,000.00 per month
