  1. Financial Reporting: Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and other relevant reports. Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulations.

  2. Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with other departments to develop annual budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor and analyze actual performance against budgeted figures, providing insights and recommendations to improve financial performance.

  3. General Ledger Management: Oversee the maintenance of the general ledger, ensuring accurate and up-to-date recording of financial transactions. Review journal entries, reconciliations, and other accounting records.

  4. Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, including timely preparation and submission of tax returns. Coordinate with external tax advisors, when necessary, to address complex tax matters.

  5. Internal Controls: Implement and maintain strong internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial reporting.

  6. Audit Coordination: Collaborate with external auditors during financial audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations. Address audit findings and implement recommendations for process improvements.

  7. Team Management: Lead and mentor the accounting team, setting clear performance expectations and providing guidance in their professional development.

  8. Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Present financial insights and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders.

  9. Cash Management: Manage cash flow to optimize working capital, ensuring sufficient liquidity for day-to-day operations and planned capital expenditures.

  10. Compliance and Regulations: Stay informed about changes in accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements. Implement necessary adjustments to ensure compliance.

  11. Perform other related tasks assigned from time to time.
