Role Overview

We are looking for a Customer Journey Expert (CJE) to join our Pricing team. Pricing is an application that enables front-office colleagues to calculate income, risk, and profitability for potential deals. It ensures ING is fairly compensated for the risks taken when lending and is a key part of ING Wholesale Banking's strategy.

The team keeps the application aligned with ING's needs, regulatory requirements, and strategic goals. This includes adapting to regulatory changes (e.g., CRR III), evolving customer journeys, and technical specifications, while also providing support to end users.

Since PricING is an API and calculation engine integrated with multiple systems, we are seeking someone with strong experience as a Banking CJE or IT Business Analyst working on complex IT products with cross-team dependencies. Familiarity with JSON/XML data formats and the Wholesale Banking domain (particularly financial and risk models) will be a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Stakeholder Management – Support the Product Owner in refining and developing the vision and strategy. Act as a sparring partner for the team, manage stakeholders, and communicate changes effectively.
  • Content Alignment – Continuously improve the product and customer journey in line with regulatory, policy, and market changes.
  • User Engagement – Work closely with end users: interview, collect feedback, challenge requirements, and ensure we deliver a valuable and well-loved product.
  • Risk Management – Collaborate with the team to build a secure product that meets IT risk and regulatory requirements (e.g., RCSA processes).
  • Knowledge Sharing – Promote continuous learning, share expertise across teams, and give/receive feedback to improve performance.
  • Agile Development – Apply design thinking, lean startup, and agile practices. Have an entrepreneurial mindset: think big, start small, scale fast.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree
  • 5+ years of experience as a Customer Journey Expert or Business Analyst
  • Strong, proactive personality with the ability to thrive in an Agile environment
  • Experience in the Wholesale Banking domain, ideally with lending or loan pricing
  • Interest in technology and data science applications
  • Excellent command of English
