Installation:

Installing new refrigeration and air conditioning systems, including components like compressors, coils, and ductwork, following blueprints and specifications.

Maintenance:

Performing routine inspections, cleaning, and preventative maintenance on existing systems to ensure optimal performance and identify potential problems.

Repair:

Diagnosing malfunctions in refrigeration and air conditioning systems, identifying faulty components, replacing parts, and repairing leaks.

Troubleshooting:

Analyzing system behavior, using diagnostic tools to pinpoint issues, and determining the best course of action for repairs.

Customer interaction:

Communicating with clients to understand their needs, explaining technical issues in simple terms, and providing estimates for repairs.

Qualifications/Requirements

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent, with additional training or certification in refrigeration and air conditioning from a technical school.

Licenses and certifications:

Experience:

Prior experience as a RAC technician, including installation, maintenance, and repair of various types of systems.
