The Aircon Technician will be responsible for the installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of air-conditioning units and refrigeration systems deployed at Honda facilities. The role ensures efficient operation of HVAC equipment to maintain safe and comfortable working environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform installation, inspection, and repair of air-conditioning units (Split Type, Package Type, Window Type, etc.)
  • Conduct preventive maintenance activities such as cleaning, leak testing, and filter replacement
  • Diagnose cooling system issues including electrical and mechanical troubleshooting
  • Monitor HVAC performance and recommend improvements for system efficiency
  • Ensure proper handling of refrigerants and compliance with safety standards
  • Maintain accurate service reports and update maintenance records
  • Coordinate with supervisors and Honda personnel regarding job schedules and findings
  • Assist in emergency repairs to minimize operational downtime
  • Follow company and client safety protocols and site regulations at all times

Qualifications

  • At least High School or Technical/Vocational Graduate (Air-conditioning / Refrigeration course preferred)
  • With minimum 1–2 years of related experience in air-conditioning maintenance and repair
  • Knowledgeable in basic electrical wiring and refrigeration systems
  • TESDA NCII certificate in RAC Servicing – an advantage
  • Physically fit and willing to work on a shifting or extended schedule as required
  • Can work independently with minimal supervision
